The X-Pole XPERT Pro model pole dancing poles are one of the best dance poles on the market you can buy for both home and studio use. The XPERT Pro poles are the only dance pole made with the revolutionary X-Joint which makes the pole easier to install and makes the pole stronger than most other dance poles, where multiple pieces must be joined together. The X-Joint is a very heavy, nearly solid metal part that secures the individual pole pieces together.
XPERT Pro dance poles are adjustable poles for a very wide variety of ceiling heights, these poles can adapt to ceiling heights ranging from 7'6" up to 11'1" with extra extensions and ceiling mounts. This is important to know in case you don't plan to keep your pole in the same location for a very long time. XPERT Pro poles are easy to install, take down, and to move to a different location, making portability easier.
This dance pole has a unique height adjuster system at the bottom of the pole making it easier to install and take down. BOTH SPINNING & STATIONARY – X-LOCK mechanism requires no tool to change the XPERT PRO from Static to Spinning – just a twist of the wrist. Requiring only a turn to switch from static to spinning or back, it takes less than a second and can be done one handed.
FLAT WITH VAULTED CEILING CAPABILITIES: The dome in this kit will only work on a flat ceiling ONLY. If you have a slanted or vaulted ceiling, you must use a vaulted ceiling mount (purchased separately here) to replace the dome included in this kit.
INSTALLS FROM BOTTOM – No ladder needed to adjust height. This dance pole has a unique height adjuster system at the bottom of the pole making it easier to put up and take down. What is the difference in pole finishes?
Titanium Gold – electronically coated to enhance grip with a more polished gold color than brass. Easier to grip than chrome.
Powder Coated - good for those with skin sensitive to metals. The painted surface gives the highest level of grip for a hard surfaced pole, better than brass for most people.
Chrome– most popular & best for general use, fitness, exercise, and competitions.
Stainless Steel – best for those with skin sensitivities to metal and for those living in extremely humid environments that are not temperature controlled.(contained in this kit)
Silicone – soft rubber coating on this pole is similar to Chinese pole, can wear clothing while pole dancing and very easy to grip.
What is the difference in pole diameters?
40mm (1.5in) – slimmest pole yet and great for small hands
45mm (1.75in) – easy to grip with your hands and used in worldwide competitions. Most popular size and is the industrial standard for fitness competitions and home use.

X Poles are shipped directly from the X Pole warehouse in California via Fed Ex ground in the USA. We do not offer local pickup.

I had an older version of this xpole, and then decided to buy this new one as well when I needed another. This has an advantage over the older ones, in that installation is easier and it is constructed a bit differently internally than previously. My older pole had a tendency for the two large pieces to become impossible to separate when tearing it down after extended use.
I really love this pole because once it is set up properly, it is extremely strong & sturdy – in my opinion, the best “removable, portable” pole available. It doesn’t feel flimsy for advanced pole tricks like other poles of that sort. I never have to worry about it slipping or falling, or not being able to handle the forces when I spin on it, or throw my weight around. The only sturdier option would be something that screws in and anchors to the floor and ceiling. Also, the seams in the pole are not noticeable.
My only dislike of this pole is that I got the stainless steel finish, and it takes a while for it to “warm up” after it is brand new, and wear in to acquire the right stickiness and grip. I’ve also noticed that when I had a shorter version of this pole, the spinning mode was much smoother. Now, in order for me to have it tightened enough to be very stable, it tends to limit the smoothness of the bearings when it is in the spinning mode.
